On-Stage Stands Sales Representative
General Position Summary:
For over 32 years, The Music People, Inc. has been a highly respected national business-to-business distributor of musical accessories and pro-audio equipment to music retailers and sound contractors across the country. We were recently named a top workplace in the state of Connecticut. We are currently developing a sales team to focus exclusively on our proprietary brands. The tele-sales team is responsible for maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values. We are currently seeking an on-site sales representative to join our team in our Berlin, CT office.
Reports to: Sales Manager
The Sales Representative will:
- Meet or exceed all forecasted sales numbers, profit goals, and outbound call quota.
- Cold calls potential customers
- Manages pre-existing customer accounts
- Works with our Pro Audio team to allow for maximum product offering for the customer.
- Provide feedback to management regarding performance.
- Implements cross sell, up-sell, and incentive programs to increase performance results.
- Accurately quotes products to follow guidelines set by management.
Skills:
- Strong Communication (verbal and written) skills that demonstrate the ability to effectively interact in TMP’s best interest with internal and external parties.
· Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook),MS Attain and Sharepoint.
- Quick learner- ability to move into an opportunity while learning a new product line.
Experience:
- Direct experience in a B2B telesales environment.
- Account Management
- Background working on a Sales Team
