TMP Plans Their Exhibit at Winter NAMM 2010
December 09, 2009
Although the economy remains uncertain, TMP is looking forward to a successful Winter NAMM show, January 14-17, 2010. As always, we will be filling our 20’ x 60’ booth (#6854) with new product and revitalized brands.
New products from On-Stage Stands®, Hot Wires, Drum Fire and more!
On-Stage Stands will proudly be introducing the GS8200 Pro Grip 2 Guitar Stand. Like its sister product, the GS8100 Pro Grip, the Pro Grip 2 includes a patent-pending yoke that hangs guitars by their headstocks. The new and innovative yoke system allows the weight of the guitar to draw the yoke arm down and pull two horizontal flippers towards the headstock, locking it in one single action. Removal is just as easy; picking up your guitar opens the gates instantly.
On-Stage Stands will also be bringing the RS7500 Tiltback Amp Stand, its Best-in-Show winner from the 2009 Summer NAMM. The RS7500 solves three major problems encountered by performing guitarists. First, its 5 tilt positions suit it to any size stage, allowing amplifiers to be aimed up towards the player: sharp angles for shallow stages and gentle angles for deep stages. Second, the better monitoring of a tilted amplifier means the amp can be operated at a lower volume, extending the life of tubes and speakers, and providing a better mix on stage. Third, the integrated threaded shaft end eliminates the need for additional mic stands. The MSA7500CB boom arm attachment for the RS7500 will also be displayed.
Additionally, On-Stage Stands has been expanding its instrument case and gig bag line with more sizes and styles. The hot new GCB6000S Snakeskin electric guitar case is sure to electrify your sales floor for the post-holiday crowd. New additions to the 5550 Series poly foam guitar case line offer heavy-duty protection and plush-lined interiors, while new 5000 Series hardshell guitar cases are custom-molded to provide a snug fit for your instrument. Lastly, stylish yet durable 4550 Series guitar bags are available for electric, acoustic, classical, and bass guitars.
The revitalized Hot Wires brand has added nearly 30 new cables to its line in the last few months. The expanded line now offers models with Speakon® connectors, banana connectors, patch cables, and guitar pedal cables. Its new Perfect Pair combo cables are available in several configurations and offer combined XLR audio and IEC power lines to connect audio mixers to self-powered speakers. Hot Wires has also added new lengths and gauges to its microphone, instrument and speaker cables.
DrumFire fires up its arsenal with new accessories for its line of drum sets. The new entries include the DFP7500 Drum Practice Pad, MDT-2 Double-braced Drum Throne, and a newly redesigned Cymbal Trolley Bag. DrumFire also introduced a larger 4’ x 6’ Drum Mat this year. The new drum mat is made of the same non-slip PVC material as the 4’ x 4’ version, but is able to accommodate full-sized drum kits. It also comes with its own carrying bag.
TMP Pro Distribution: A great pro audio source, even if you already buy direct from manufacturers.
Due to this past year’s lackluster economy, pro audio manufacturers have been cutting their inventory levels more than ever. What does this mean to MI dealers? Unfortunately, it means that they often cannot get the merchandise they need in a timely manner, losing sales because manufacturers are out of stock. But because TMP Pro is a stocking distributor, we provide dealers with instant access to pro audio products from nearly 130 top brands, including essential shelf-stocking gear from Shure, Audio Technica, Sennheiser, QSC, Electro-Voice, Telex, JBL, Samson, dbx and Tascam. TMP Pro Distribution also provides fast & friendly service, manufacturer-direct pricing, and no minimums on any order. Visit us at booth #6854 in Hall A to see the products, services, and “no-minimums” sourcing advantages that TMP Pro Distribution has to offer.
